Marcela Astorga is one of Argentina’s most celebrated contemporary artists. With numerous individual and collective exhibitions around the world, she has attracted the attention of scores of writers. The most important art publications of Argentina and Latin America have published stories about her.
Her work has been included in important collections, such as the Modern Art Museum of Buenos Aires, the Jumex Foundation Collection, the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation and the Zabludowicz Collection of London.
She has received numerous prizes, including a special jury mention awarded at the Cultural Chandon (Timoteo Navarro Museum); a mention at the National Biannual of Bahía Blanca (Museum of Contemporary Art); a mention at the Avon Salon and a mention at the La Cuadra Salon.
